Welcome to the Home Base of SAFARI Helicopter!

Spend a little time exploring the information about the SAFARI, and you'll be ready to explore the world from the seat of your own helicopter.

When deciding between a certified and experimental aircraft, the two most important considerations are safety and cost of ownership.   The SAFARI has proven itself with a 20 year safety record , and  simplicity and ease of maintenance make the SAFARI the helicopter of choice for the pilot who would rather fly than "fix".

With no belts or chains, the SAFARI offers the security of oil bath gears, chip detectors, and over running sprag clutch. The SAFARI  does not use a proprietary engine, requiring repairs and service available at only a few locations.  Because it is reliably powered by a Lycoming or Superior aircraft engine, the SAFARI can travel the world.

We want to provide the information you need to make a decision you will be happy with for many years.  Please contact us by phone at 850-482-4141 or by email at info@acehelicopter.com.

CHR INTERNATIONAL INC. ACQUIRES SAFARI HELICOPTER
A US corporation, CHR International Inc., has acquired SAFARI Helicopter.  The owners of CHR International Inc., Bobby and Delane Baker, have been involved with SAFARI for several years.  Murray Sweet, one of the original developers of the SAFARI, will remain involved with the new company as a technical consultant, as will other long time members of the SAFARI team.
Much of the production will remain in Canada, with assembly and flight training continuing in Marianna, Florida.
“Having worked with SAFARI for some time, we appreciate the quality and durability of the helicopter.  SAFARI owners are our most valuable resource, and we look to them for ideas for continual improvement of the SAFARI.  We hope to hear from each of them, and are working to provide any information and assistance they need to fly safely and enjoyably.
We are also actively seeking partnerships with qualified individuals to provide more convenient support and assistance to SAFARI owners.  We have reduced the dealership requirements in most parts of the world, and are already seeing positive results”, states Delane Baker.
